At Bala Bharathi Kendriya Vidyalaya, World Environment Day was celebrated as a heartfelt tribute to Mother Nature, blending awareness, culture, commitment, and action.
The programme began with students presenting the Significance of the Day, reminding everyone that every small step towards protecting nature creates a lasting impact on our planet. The atmosphere then resonated with a soulful Kannada ‘environmental song’ beautifully expressing our connection with the earth.
Adding grace to the occasion, students presented an ‘Abhinaya Nritya’ portraying the beauty of nature and humanity’s responsibility towards preserving it. Their expressive performance conveyed a powerful message of harmony between humans and the environment.
The celebration gained greater meaning with the ‘Environmental Oath’ led by the Principal, where students and staff pledged to adopt eco-friendly practices and become responsible custodians of nature.
Addressing the gathering, the Secretary emphasized the importance of sustainable living and inspired students to become ambassadors of environmental protection.
A plantation drive was conducted on the campus, symbolizing hope, growth, and a greener tomorrow. Each sapling planted stands as a promise to future generations.
Adding joy to the celebration, the school also witnessed the ‘inauguration of the Kids’ Park and Play Zone’,a vibrant space where children can learn, play, and grow amidst nature.
